Clinical care that adapts to real life
Physical therapy at Oak Physical Therapy is one-on-one, unhurried, and tailored to your body, goals, and nervous system.
I work with women, moms, babies, and complex bodies using an integrated approach that includes pelvic health, infant development, myofunctional therapy, and somatic support. Neurodivergence is explicitly taken into account, with care adapted for attention, sensory processing, communication, and regulation needs.
Brain development and body development are inextricably linked, and care is designed to support both — whether working with infants, children, or adults.
Pregnancy, Postpartum & Pelvic Health
Pregnancy and postpartum bring profound changes — physically, neurologically, and emotionally. I provide individualized pelvic floor physical therapy to support recovery, strength, breathing, and movement through pregnancy and beyond.
Care addresses the pelvic floor as part of the whole body, with attention to posture, breath, nervous system regulation, and the realities of parenting — without rushing or pushing.
This care is well-suited for both everyday movement needs and for athletes or active moms looking to return to the activities they love — without pressure to perform or “bounce back.”
Moms & Babies
I offer gentle, developmentally informed physical therapy for infants and their caregivers. This includes support for movement, early milestones, and feeding-related challenges.
My work often integrates myofunctional therapy to address oral motor function, tongue posture, and coordination — which can play a significant role in breastfeeding and feeding difficulties. Care is paced, respectful, and supportive of both the baby’s and the parent’s nervous systems.
Hypermobility & Complex Bodies
Hypermobility and complex bodies often require a different approach to physical therapy. Care focuses on building stability, strength, and confidence without triggering flares or setbacks.
Treatment integrates movement, load management, and nervous system awareness to support sustainable progress.
Whole-Body & Somatic Physical Therapy
Whole-body physical therapy integrates strength, mobility, breath, and somatic approaches to support how the brain and body work together. This care is designed for people who enjoy movement — including athletes, active moms, and those returning to movement after time away.
Attention is given to nervous system regulation, sensory processing, and motor learning, recognizing that sustainable movement and development depend on both neurological and physical support. This lens is woven throughout all services rather than offered as a separate program.
Education & Supportive Resources
In addition to clinical care, I offer educational resources designed to support learning and confidence outside of sessions. These include downloadable guides and classes, with additional offerings planned over time.
